Tav is finished and hasn't been dropped cause he's captain. Gio sets up very similar formation wise but the current formation isn't working. Were creating nothing. Needs to immediately find a way to goal. For me we can't go into games full of holding midfielders. We need players who go towards goal and we have those type of midfielders. I think Gerrard would have been less likely to make big changes. Conceding first 6 games in a row is Fort William level stuff. That has to be priority. I still think we have enough quality in the squad but big changes need to be made. Out Tav, Goldson and Morelos as soon as possible. Goldson will keep his place as there's no real replacement to come in for him with Simpson not being in the euro squad. Kamara, Davis, Lundstram, Jack should start as the single holding mid with two midfielders either side who can attack like Aribo/Bacuna etc. Patterson has to start before Tav. We should actually be playing a lot more of the younger players who have sell on value as well as room for development. McCrorie, Patterson, Bassey, maybe even Kelly. Bit of a shite situation. Missed the bus for selling Morelos, Barisic, Goldson and Tav. This isn't hindsight. Particularly for the fullbacks, I said in the summer we should sell.
