Never rated him at Hearts and with us he looked decent playing part timers but as soon as he was back playing against professional teams his weaknesses were shown up; always very poor defensively and going forward seemed unable or unwilling to try to cross the ball. I think he is intelligent enough to know he is earning, with us,  far more than he ever thought possible and has been happy to stay and have a good life.

I agree with this. It's a reward for a youngster who has obviously been working hard and it should inspire the other young players. 
Who gives a fuck about the clubs 5th best left back? Wallace will see his contract out for easy money, as is his right I suppose. 
He had a good season in the Championship. That's it. Awful defender, horribly one footed and awkward on the ball, one paced, lacks agility and his leadership skills appear to be non-existent. Never raised his head, on the field or off it, to defend a teammate or the club. Head bowed all the time. Atrocious captain.

8/10? Didn’t, look like he was the man of the match to me. So far almost every game he has looked well off the pace and struggles to get involved.

Candeias should have started instead of being dropped to accommodate Lafferty. It seems even Gerrard has been caught up in the "he always scores against celtic" hype. He was fucking pish.

Personally I wouldn't want any of our players in the squad. Extra games, travelling, more chance of injury, etc and all just to represent the Tartan Trannies. 
Hopefully they keep being overlooked.

Not being able to control a game to avoid set pieces was very much to do with formation.

ACL is an impact injury so can't see how he would of got that on a grass pitch. If you can't afford a fucking grass pitch you should be playing at amateur level. 

There shouldn’t be any artificial pitches in the top tier of scottish football.

Doesn't seem to get the stick he sometimes deserve. Windass is never short of getting abuse and rightly so but Murphy seems to get off the hook too easy.
I never rated him at Motherwell and playing on the left he offers very little. Never goes by the full back on the outside and constantly checks back inside and plays it to the LB.
A decent squad option to have but I'm not convinced by him. We need better.

We are well rid. Don't know why some people think we'd get a transfer fee for him. You seen him play ffs? He must have thought he'd won the lottery when Pedro signed him. Unfortunately for us he had!
