Would LOVE to be proved wrong, but I just don’t know if these guys have the stones to go and win at parkhead in these circumstances.

Tav today summing up exactly why he is so polarising - he’s absolutely shocking and struggles to do the basics in a game, then scores an absolute worldie of a free kick

Any of them complaining that this takes away their advantage of more than a day's extra rest before the OF match as unfair, is acknowledging that the schedule gave them an advantage to begin with.

BlueEdu reacted to East London Loyal in Thank you
I just want to say a big thank you to every supporter, business and employee I met from Rangers on Tuesday. I don’t think in all of my years that we as away fans have been welcomed and treated so well. I don’t know if Rangers are that welcoming to all fans from England for friendly matches, but I enjoyed every second. Of course, a lot of West Ham are Rangers as well, and there seemed to be a lot of Rangers who were West Ham. I knew West Ham fans in the home-end, and come across Rangers fans in the away end.
I can’t speak for all West Ham fans, but I think the majority really appreciated the welcome.
As for the game, I did post something in the match thread. However, to summarise, Rangers absolutely battered us and we deserved what we got. Now it’s Geo’s team with his signings, playing a high-pressing attacking game, I think it’ll be a good season ending with 56.
I know some of you are indifferent to English clubs or prefer one of our rivals, so I expect some abuse, but for anyone there on the night and mingled with us, cheers.
PS, we wouldn’t mingle with any other club.

BlueEdu reacted to mitre_mouldmaster in What an effort - Hold your heads high lads.
So we came the width of the post from winning the Europa League, but it wasnt to be.
I thought I would be absolutely heartbroken, but pride is still winning the battle.
What a monumental effort by all of our team and all of our fans.
Hold your heads up high boys, you have taken us one hell of a ride in the last 10 years, I cant wait to see what the next 10 has to offer.
Special mention to Bassey, the guy is an absolute hero.

BlueEdu reacted to DrLaudrup in Supporting
I could never say I don't support Scotland. I want them to win but I would describe myself as indifferent. I've not watched many of the matches. My issue is not with the team as such, more with the general direction of travel. By that I mean the SFA's attitude to towards Rangers and Rangers players going back 20 years and the drift/hijacking of the National team to be some sort of pseudo Republican Nationalist symbol to the extent the Rangers players are booed even when playing for the National team or opposition. Plus frankly I find the attitude of our National support quite backward. Perhaps it comes from supporting a Club side with a culture of winning. The Scottish attitude seems to be "amazing fans, turn up in ginger wigs and have a sing song but get pumped on the pitch, but we don't care so long as we might beat England". That has been holding us back on the park for years. I was pleased we qualified but our performances have been poor for me since then and I don't find our selections or tactics especially progressive. If we showed the same heart or desire against the Czechs that we showed against England we might not be out the tournament. We may be a smaller nation but other smaller nations such as Denmark / Wales / Belgium have had rewards on the park for years with an appropriate attitude and coaching. We should be raising out standards and be less focussed on having a sing song. The decline in our national game parallels the closed, inward looking attitude of many in the country.

This pretty much describes me.
Mostly the tartan army booing our players did it for me.
Saying that, if Rangers get a good few players into the national team, ill probably start being more engaged and hoping they do well.

Lack of gers players in the Scotland team and booing of the few gers players really pissed me off. Don’t know fully where I stand but I certainly haven’t watched a Scotland game in years and years
