Real shame this. Thought he was going to kick on after scoring that injury time goal in cup game against killie.
An absolutely tremendous goal that, that's what football and being a footballer is all about. Imagine the buzz of coming off the bench and scoring such a beautiful skillful goal in a cup game. It's what we all dreamt of doing as weans, and he's been lucky enough to do it. 
What is it that's holding him back? I wonder if someone in the club can get ahold of him and save his chances of being a Rangers player.

Hagi recently returned to Ibrox from his loan, but will now face the rest of the season on the sidelines following injury. 

Let's start with Willie Waddell and then work forward.

He's probably a decent squad player for a team with more spare cash than us. Especially a team without the pressure of winning every week. 
As it stands he's massively out of his depth being one of the main strikers for us. Very very poor fit for what we need. 
Best case scenario we get him moved on and claw back some of the outlay 

He's been bloody brilliant for us over the years. Club legend. So much of the criticism is totally unfair. It's the fact he's played so many games and never hidden that he's been there the times it's gone wrong. Won all the trophies in Scotland and within a penalty of a European trophy. Modern day hero for the club. 

I think it sounds a load of shite. And only really would have wanted us in it for the money. But I don't think it's any particular loss. My guess is it won't be a long term thing. 

Be great when he tops it all off with the EL trophy to complete the quadruple.

Sakala was faster and had a way of finding the net. In terms of actual contribution per game I don't see a huge difference. At least with Sakala you'd get a good run, danilo goes missing when the balls not near him.

I was pro us selling Sakala for a profit, a good bit of business. What I would not have been pro us doing was then replacing him with someone of similar ability and end product, but less robust and for far more money....
