Given the weather forecast if this goes ahead that pitch is going to be an absolute joke. A win and no injuries would do nicely

Think they’ve had a few games postponed and the B team definitely did playing there, I’d say this will be doubtful to go ahead with the forecast

The temperature is meant to rise on Friday then up to 7 degrees with rain on Saturday. Any frost or snow should be away come kick off time.

Manager comments on injuries again really is telling. 90% of players available at all times at his previous clubs until he rocked up here.

Some are bad luck granted and not saying there is a massive conspiracy but lets be honest, one of them couldn’t run that medical department any worse with the amount of injuries we have. Particularly ones that are a couple of weeks and turn out for months or even seasons.

Should go ahead. The rain and predicted wind speeds of 25mph and gusts of 40 mph hour will make for very poor playing conditions though.

Think they tried to play a game against Stirling Albion last season about 5 times before they eventually got to play it

Don't think there's an issue with players fitness or getting players back from injury, there's a huge issue with injury prevention. Our sport scientist has been here the whole time and only demoted when Milsom was here. They ain't doing a good enough job imo and probably over relying on zone7ai to do their job.

It's in the case of these lower league matches that the argument is strongest for Scottish football to have a season which begins in February/March and runs over the summer.

Whatever crap software prediction system we implemented a few years ago, I’m sure the clubs who endorsed it all have problems with it and a couple binned it as well, not us obviously

The players need to start training on a grass pitch. Constant intense training on synthetic pitch at the training ground jars the muscle fibers and this causes failures in the muscle's and tendons. Remember football boots dont have the shock absorbency for the feet and the multiground studs are solid through.

Try running about on concrete in a pair of flat shoes and youll see .

I think part of it must be down to subpar conditioning during preseason. We've had successive managers come out of summer with squads that look less fit than they should and players have consistently picked up injuries as seasons have progressed. Surely that can't be a coincidence. There's a way to prepare a body for the demands of a full season in multiple tournaments and I don't think we've been meeting that threshold.
