    It certainly looks that way....I'm sure we scouted Lammers under Gerrard aswell.....it feels like lazy signings

    Maybe so but in my opinion he should have been given a fair chance to replace Tav....his game time was limited at best, Patterson was too good a player to be given limited game time....whether Lowry is in that bracket we will never know as I'm sceptical whether he still has a future with us

    His attitude has been questioned in some quarters, but for Lowry it was a brave and correct move by him to go to Hearts. 

    Doesn't make it right though....Lammers will never make it at Rangers, remains to be seen what happens in Lowrys career.....we as a club never learn when it comes to youth players....Patterson is the perfect example...yes we made great money on the lad but I championed for him to replace Tav after the 55 season, everybody was in agreement that it's Tavs position and that was the end of the argument.....look where we are at with Tav now....he has been in decline for 18 odd month.....I would love a fully fit Patterson at right back tomorrow

    Does it ever occur that it may be soul destroying for a youth player having to watch players getting brought in to knock you even further down the pecking order....a lot has been made about Lowry and his attitude being shite....maybe just maybe the boy is sick to the back teeth of distinctively average players getting chances before him?

    I've read that all three managers who haven’t been playing him can't all be wrong......those 3 managers have spunked between £30-40 million to deliver 2 trophies in 5years....not all the blame lies at Lowrys door

    People thinking a captains role on the park is overrated or not that important are miles off

    Great captains are leaders of men, they inspire those around them to perform to the required level, those traits breed success....fuck me imagine trying to tell the likes of Gough, Souness, Greig, Butcher, Baresi, Maldini,Moore & Beckenbauer that their role wasn't that important!!!!

    I looked at Tav on Thursday night just after we lost the opening goal, he had a look of fear as if to say "here we go again " I'm wanting my captain to be furious at losing a goal so cheaply whilst getting the players to gee themselves up and get ready to go again......I saw absolutely zero of that, Tav is not a leader and his game has fell off a cliff drastically over the last 18month, we need to change, maybe taking away the responsibility will help his game, personally I'm not convinced, I just feel he we have seen his peak
