Was completely underwhelmed when he joined but I thought he looked pretty good today, obviously early days and a friendly but I thought he stood out a bit first half.

A few weeks ago a close mate of mines @Mr Sopranouncle passed away suddenly and this left a young boy without a father.
Rangers have found out about this and have issued him with an invite to be their special guest on a tour of the stadium with no cost. Ryan Jack has also hand signed the letter and from.what I hear when these things have been done in the past the player will be there to meet the person they've invited.
So for that young boy that will be immense meeting one of our arguably best and most consistent performers who also scored a winner v them.
It's not much and won't take the boys pain away but what a gesture and when I was shown the letter then hand signed non generic print signature actually give it a pretty sincere feeling.
We get slaughtered for a lot of things but for me that was a pretty moving thing to do for a young boy who'll be feeling pretty lost just now.
    Well done The Rangers 🇬🇧

I love they way he talks about Kamara there. It hasn't been spoken about much, but the wee guy reminds me of Mols, except I'm the middle of the park. His movement and the way he just turns the opposite way from the players that are close to him is amazing. He creates so much space for himself with the way he drops his shoulder is wonderful to watch.
£50,000 is just ridiculous. He cost us less than what Michael Johnson who used to play for Man City got paid a week.
Some piece of business by the guys at the club.
And a shout out to whomever it was who brought him to Scotland in the first place. Thanks. That turn that started that move was worth the £50k alone 😂😂

    Bury fan here
Been following this thread for a while and thought i would give a honest opinion on what I have seen of Rossiter
I have been at every game Jordan has played and he has been absolute class for us. Reads the game brilliantly and his positional awareness is fantastic, got a great engine on him and despite only being small in stature he is rock solid in the tackle. He breaks up play very well and has provided a defensive shield we was missing. If he can stay fit you potentially have a serious player on your hands
Comparisons to Gerrard are way off though, totally different players. SG was a box to box savage and had everything, Rossiter on the other hand is very defensive minded. He is not going to be spreading 50 yard balls and creating much but as a defensive midfielder he is everything you want
I cant say if he is good enough for Rangers or what you need in midfield but he is far to good for league two in England. Would comfortably be a solid Championship midfielder IMO
I had a quick chat with him after we won promotion at Tranmere ( he was immense again and probably had his best game for us) and he seems to have his heart set on going back to Glasgow injury free and making a good go of it. He actually said he owes Rangers after the way he has been treated up there on and off the pitch. He could not have spoke higher about Rangers than what he did. Lovely down to earth lad aswel
Wish him all the best. He has played a massive part in our promotion and will always be more than welcome by everyone at Bury F.C

This combination provide such a solid base for the team to build from.
I don't subscribe to the "Stevie got it wrong with Worrall" theories.  I think Katic had extreme personal issues mid-season.
It does look like we have got a really strong base for next season and only need to add cover - ideally a young player with potential, maybe even from the academy.

Shearer reacted to RFC55 in Ricksen uses oxygen 10 hours a day
FERNANDO Ricksen is hoping to extend his life by wearing an oxygen mask for ten hours a day.
The Rangers icon, 42, uses the breathing aid to help his lungs weakened by motor neurone disease.
The Dutch star, in an Airdrie hospice, said: “It gives my muscles a rest.”
And Ricksen joked that wearing his mask makes him a ringer for Darth Vader.
He drew comparisons with the Stars Wars villain as he refuses to let his struggle with motor neurone disease rob him of his sense of humour.
He told how the breathing aid takes the strain off his weakened lungs for long spells — and of his hope that it will keep him alive for longer.
Doctors at the hospice had advised me to start using the mask about a month ago. Lately I have been feeling very tired, even after a good sleep.
“I’ve had very vivid dreams and a splitting headache when I wake up.
“It depends on how I feel, but I now always try to get a good couple of hours sleep, with the mask, during the day.”
The Dutch star added: “The most benefit you get from it is during the night in combination with a good sleep.
But because it’s a bit difficult to get used to and because I’m so stubborn, it has been in the closet all the time.
“I forgot all about it. But they advised me to recognise the symptoms and inform the doctor once I had them
“Using it is like going scuba diving. Especially in the beginning I had no idea how to breathe through it.
“At that moment, it almost scared me when I had to use it at night because I couldn’t check it when I am asleep. Now I have everything under control.
“Because my muscles keep working at full capacity 24 hours a day, you can let the mask do the work at night or day.
“But in the beginning, I thought ‘What if something goes wrong and I don’t notice it?’ I may not wake up any more.”

Despite his deteriorating health, the Light Blues legend still regularly sees loved ones — with Veronika and Isabella travelling over last weekend — and watches matches on a telly in his room.
And he is still positive about the future, despite having his doubters when he vowed to be the first person to beat the condition. He said: “People thought it was a weird thing to say.
“They thought it was very unrealistic. But why couldn’t I say a thing like that?
“As if we know everything about MND already — look at Stephen Hawking. He lived with MND for over 50 years. Isn’t that at least close to beating the illness?
“As long as I breathe, albeit through a mask, there is hope. Only when hope has gone, you’re destined to lose the fight.
“Well, I still have hope and I will continue to fight. That’s one of the reasons why I have never considered euthanasia.
    “No, I’m not finished yet.”
Hospice staff feed him peach-flavoured liquid food through a pump into his stomach. Nurses also administer vital medicines into his arms.
Sources praised the ace for how upbeat he’s been since moving to the hospice — and admitted they’d been stunned at how he’d held on to his sense of humour.
Our insider said: “I know a lot of MND patients, but you won’t find many who are this witty – especially not at the final stage of the disease.
“This guy is so positive, it’s unbelievable. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Ricksen played 182 games for the Glasgow giants from 2000 to 2006 — netting 13 goals.

I know he was nothing like stretched to capacity today but I thought he had another good game, if a cb is signed before next season to be a first pick I would  prefer Katic  who I think just edges Goldson alongside him.

The amount of our attacking play that comes from Tavernier on that right side is ridiculous.  He’s involved in everything.  Constantly bringing the ball up the park and putting in dangerous balls.
Considering the amount of assists and goals this guy has for a defender you would think he’d be in contention for POTY.

Always remember that game v's Hibs at Ibrox. Halliday got sent off after 70 minutes or so, and although we were up 3-1, one more goal for Hibs and our arse would have collapsed. This wee man played the part of 2 midfielders and ran his cunt in for the team those last 20 minutes. Sure he scored a couple that night too. We ran out 4-2 winners and am sure this was his best performance for the team. He was never going to make it for us in the top league, but I loved his attitude and work rate. Hope he goes on to good things again!
