Absolutely we should. He should never have been hired in the first place.
The only problem I have with him being sacked is the same fuckwits that appointed him will be in charge of recruiting his replacement.

Bin him and hopefully he'll jump out the door in January for something, rather than getting the middle of a polomint later, he's not going to sign back on anyway.

The major problem with this team is midfield. Until we sort that area out defence and forwards will struggle against decent teams. Agree Kent has not shown enough effort though and is overrated but he might look better with better players supporting him but he clearly is not good enough to be the difference between success and failure. Looking at midfield Lundstrum good player but no pace so needs the right partners, Jack not fit enough and has lost pace, Kamara good when he has passing options, Airfield + Davis cannot last 90 mins, Tillman not settled and has a lot to learn almost like a player stepping up from u21s just like McCann and Lowry.  Going into this season with that midfield should get Wilson and Gio their P45s. 
 

He is a talented player on his day. Letting both himself and us down lately.
No player is bigger than the club, even more so when they are playing within themselves and clearly not putting in the required effort. It's come to the stage where he is dragging his teammates down.  I can understand a dip in form but a lack of effort is affront to our footballing ethos.
Being benched the other week clearly didn't work, was given an opportunity against Liverpool and gave yet another disentrested, lazy display. I wouldn't even select him for the bench on Sunday.
If he trains hard, drastically changes his attitude and puts a real effort in then maybe let him play in a few weeks time.

I hate VAR, not because of what it is, but because of how it's used.
VAR should be used at the discrection of the ref.
If the ref isn't sure about an offside penalty etc, he can choose to look at it.
If a player or manager thinks an offside or penalty etc is wrong, then they ask the ref to look at it.
What we don't need is jobsworth pricks watching a tv and telling the ref to look at things

I’ve not got a clue what Gio is trying to achieve the way he sets his teams up and the personal he uses so what chance do the players have. Never laid a glove on them which is the most frustrating thing. You’d think he’d know his best 11 by now but can’t recall the last time the same 11 started two games in a row other than out of stubbornness after the parkhead debacle. Troubling times ahead of this is what we’ve become. A team happy just to be at the party. The supporters deserve better 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Play him central, if he fucks it up there with lack of desire then get him to fuck. Tbh I'm already at the get him to fuck stage, he can't be trusted to give our jersey 100% which is the minimum I expect.

55 season we used Morelos and Roofe up top with Kent playing behind in a free role. 
We have Kent, Tillman and Lawrence who could slot into that free role allowing Colak and Morelos to play up top. 
Width would comes from fullbacks. 

If this team had any backbone they would be flying out the traps come Tynecastle after that result yesterday.
We know it will be same timid, slow shite they’ve served us up all season.

Some players seemed to have chucked it.
However, if we can stay close to them to Xmas and we get Lawrence, Roofe and Hagi back fit. If we get Davies, Yilmaz and Matondo contributing then we have a chance.  I think its a lot to ask for though.

One of those games was the tarriers. What was Gerrards record against them? When did we ever concede 4 without reply under Gerrard? 
 
I mean, we can go around in circles on Gerrard for days but the reality is that’s history and Gio is performing badly and the team is regressing at an alarming rate.
 
I note he has changed from zonal marking to man for man marking so he can change. but I don’t have faith that he is going to turn this around and that’s the difference. 

I predicted they'd struggle more this season than last due to to european comp issues. Surprised its come so soon, really didn't expect it today.
It's good that their backups played and failed them, they'll likely now put more emphasis on their key players playing more than they'd ideally want them to, which hopefully leads to injuries.
If only we could get our own shit together.

Don’t see why Gio doesn’t try Matondo on the left and Kent more central. It’s not like Kent loves getting to the byeline and whipping in balls with his left peg. And is also useless when man marked. Worth a try to let Kent wonder around in a free central role where he’s harder to pick up. Can’t get any worse
