Right now, this looks like a completely baffling signing.  Plenty of positions required strengthening before this.
To have a 5-6 million pounds player on the bench when we are in the position we are is ridiculous and an incredible waste.
To think we could have spent that on a quality RW who could help decide games defies belief in all honesty.
So the question is at what point do we start to play him? Do we bite the bullet and make him our no.1 LB irrespective of Barisic's form and allow him to fulfil his potential or do we allow a £5-6 million player to fritter away on the bench whilst our season crumbles away?

I genuinely thought the same it’s a real surprise we haven’t added any talent from the eredivisie. Given most of the management team have a lot of knowledge from that league. You get the sense most of these buys are Wilson signings.

I genuinely thought that when GvB and his management team came in they'd be bringing in some of the best emerging talent from Holland they way the fat Aussie did with Japanese players. Yet another example of us being let down in a recruitment sense.

Would love a CM genuine quality as it’s an area we haven’t spent in for a number of years. We could also do with another CB, Winger & Striker but doubt we’re going to do that much business. Maybe even fill a couple of those positions with Loans

Huge game tonight imo really think this will determine where we go in terms of winning titles & having a quality squad built in the next few years.

But looking at the rest over 2 million on Matondo who so far has offered nothing. And the fees spent on Yilmaz & Davies they should be up to speed & ready to go starting most games. Yet they’ve barely featured it’s shite recruitment.
