A Veerman type player needed. For about an hour he looked class.

Depending on when the 3 injured CHs are likely back we may unfortunately need to strengthen there. A cost qe could do without but we are light there right now.

Cherry on top would be a right winger. Doubt that would happen unless we moved on the likes of Sakala / Wright.

It would be a good time to sell Kent and Morelos if they aren't going to renew their deals. 

With the transfer fees plus some Champions League money bring in quality replacements.

If they decide to stay them invest in a couple of high quantity young players, preferably loans with option to buy like Tillman.

It’s worth noting that ‘guaranteed’ prize money fee for us in the UCL is only about £6m higher than the Europa League (if you include the £4.5m we would have got for losing last night. A lot of the prize money is based on a 10 year co-efficient and we are either the 31 or 32nd club on that metric so we get £2m (as a comparison celtic get £8m). 

Of course our ticket money will be higher than if it was the Europa league I would guess and hopefully our commercial contracts have Champions League enhancers. 

Prize money for wins and even draws are considerably higher in the UCL though. 

Still a transformational night for the club though
