Australia have fucked it here big time, they initially agreed to the visa and now they’ve gone back on the decision because of the public outcry in the country. Agreed. However, 26 people applied for a ME and only a handful were accepted. It was two strict tests apparently and the applicants name was not available to the examiners, one was a doctor. So it does seems strange how only Djokovic has been denied entry after passing and receiving a medical exemption. The Australian government has been naming him specifically for weeks and it does look political aspects at work.
