Murtaugh 47
Right decision, Mccoist always a legend though
Bears r us 30,810
Is that not the normal thing to happen, the assistant takes over until they appoint a new manager. Can you imagine the out cry if no one was left in charge of training this next week.
Smile 26,610
Does gardening leave mean we still have to pay his wages in full until the end of his contract?Means we will end up paying two managers one to sit or his arse the other to mop up his mess. gogzy 31,195
Does gardening leave mean we still have to pay his wages in full until the end of his contract? think that would depend on if a settlement can be reached or not.
james_85 656
Best decision for the club, if they get the right person in that is willing to play good football then the club might make a few bob by selling half season, season tickets

Sparkle 53,611
I'm really sorry it didn't work out for him. Still a legend in my book. All the best to him for the future. Can't help but feel that yet another cornerstone of our club is gone.Obviously I hope we get through all this and continue back to the top but we need to remember that we are still here in no small way because of Ally's efforts in the past few years. there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
I'm happy enough for him to be given it in a caretaking capacity. Long term I'd expect him and Durrant to move on.
gogzy 31,195
No. No. No. No. No. He'll be even worse than McCoist.I really hope we appoint a new manager in time for the next game.no chance, will be a week or two anyway IMO.

AlBear. 8,499
Means we will end up paying two managers one to sit or his arse the other to mop up his mess. The way we have dragged this out so far I think there'll be more news on this in the coming weeks. We don't know what deal will end up being agreed upon. subcrawl 43
I would like to see us go for McCall now. I know some are tired of the 'rangers man' angle, but even aside from that he performed miracles on a shoestring at Motherwell, finishing best of the rest on three occasions, and gubbed the taigs a few times. He knows how to operate in the top flight and will get us there straight away, if not via the title then through the play offs. A street wise manager who will ensure we are well equipped to deal with the overrated Deila side in February too.He is exactly the man we need to see us through the next two or three years, when building stability after the mess of the last three years is the main priority. Those wanting a big name or a side playing free flowing football need to get their head out of the clouds, this is where we are now and we have to make the very best of what we've got. McCall has proved he is exactly the man to be able to do it for me.
Clemdog 39,389
Fairly sure that he was in charge on Saturday.
JamieG54 812
I really have no idea who the new Manager will be. Hopefully someone that will have a vision and aims to stay for years to come. We need a scouting system to start with.
AlBear. 8,499
Honestly don't see us adding another wage before the summer.
Jelavic191 4,470
Until the end of the season according to the statement Rangers put out. We must have literally nothing to pay a new manager.

Jelavic191 4,470
Honestly don't see us adding another wage before the summer.Looks like this is whats happening according to the statement from Rangers. Personally it was McCall for me til the end of the season but looks like finances are dictating here.
