No ones's saying it wouldn't be incredible or maybe the best victory over them ever, but far too many times have the players had the opportunity to repay the fans and their bottle crashes every single time.

If I thought our team had the bottle, I would maybe think we could do it but I just really can't see us turning up.

That being said, never surrender ;)

I don't think people should be writing us off so easily.

Three of our back four could easily have been playing in this fixture if the events of 2012 hadn't happened.

One of our forwards was the second top scorer in the SPFL last year - although not exactly setting things alight this year- and the other, Kenny Miller, would run all day to beat the Tims.

Our midfield might be a weak link but three of the regular four have all played top flight football.

I know the above players haven't exactly blown our skirts up in the past two seasons but it's not as if we're playing with 11 weans (unlike the Tims like to :) ) and they have all, with the exception of a couple, had their day playing top flight so I don't think it's smart to write us off in the way people have.

Everybody knows form goes out the window with an Old Firm game so I believe we'll give them a fright.

And they have diddy ambrose, daly can look at him and he'd fall.

This is without doubt the biggest game of the last 3 years and possibly the most one sided. However I think that the football and the score will become playing second fiddle to the powder keg that is old firm fans. The eyes of the world will be on Hampden, not just the football world but absolutely everyone will be looking in to see what happens.

My fear is that the events of the last two youth games that took place with be replicated 100 fold. Regardless of the final outcome Noone will win in this encounter.

As much as we've been terrible this season

We've beat Inverness, St Johnstone and Kilmarnock. All top flight teams. I wouldn't say we're at a standard were we could get beat by double figures and they're certainly not that good a team to beat us by double figures, by the end of January they should more or less have the league wrapped up with Rangers not being there.

If Celtic were in a semi final against Kilmarnock, would you bet them winning by double figures? I don't thinkso, and we beat Kilmarnock with significant ease.

The problem is there will be zero playing within yourself. They will be pumped for this infact I think they will be more pumped than us.

They will be breaking a neck to score at every opportunity. Records will be broken, it will be utter humiliation.

Surely I'm not the only one who isn't thinking it could be close? 1-1 come 90 mins? They're wonderstriker hasn't scored in a while and manager seems gutless. Hopefully when we walk out the players will see passionate fans and give their all knowing many, many scouts/football people are watching. Same could be said on they're end though.

Have to admit it is a difficult game and yes the odds against us are big but Fuckin 6 and 10 nil defeats?? Aye rite!! Get intae these inbred scumbags!! Could be one of the greatest days to be a bear!!

a pair of fuckin stones at last.never would I ever state publicly that I thought they cunts could beat us let alone gie us a fuckin doin.. anyway , regardless of the outcome on the pitch, the papes will still be put in their place by being chased all over glasgow for the next month. Normal service resumed.both their team and their support are shitting it big time in case we beat them..think they will have to draft the armed forces in to keep the peace in glasgow feb 1st.

You reap what you sew ya taigy bastards.

No Surrender

Over the last few years our fans have been one of the few shining lights, selling out away grounds every other weekend and packing Ibrox to world record attendances. It has been truly remarkable, but I fear that all this stellar work will be ruined. I expect, although I hope it won't happen, Hampden to be a battle ground and that someone will get seriously hurt. All because some people can't be trusted to behave like grownups.

Calm down, we heard your worry the first time you posted it.

Bring them on.

It dawned on me this morning just how close it is ... the biggest game for years had completely slipped my mind and I think that shows the gravity of off field matters right now. TBH the match doesn't really matter as long as ownership of the club is brought to a satisfactory conclusion because there will be other old firm games but what happens in the boardroom now will effect everything that we do for many years to come

At the end of the day they are expecting to hammer us. If we can frustrate them then who knows.

I expect us to get beat so any kind of victory would be unbelievable.

We need someone in the Managers chair in the next couple of days, if KMcd doesn't want to do the job then send him home and get Durie in.

I have no confidence in KMcd if he's not committed.

I'm not optimistic about this at all.I think we did well avoiding them the last few years, and I persoanlly dreaded meeting them when we are in a weakened state. The only consolation is it is not at the cesspit.

If i was being honest, i'd take a small margin loss right now.I am very nervous about this game and seriously hope they do not do a number on us.
