Aye, but he isn't out of contract this minute.

But he's been free to speak to teams since January. It's obvious he was at the training ground so MW would look pretty stupid if he said he wasn't going to talk about it.

I'm not saying its disrespectful, all I was saying is right now his contract hasn't ended.

yes I know but they got Tuesday Wednesday of this week off and tomorrow and Friday was to be the last two days of intensive training  before the game that's what I meant to say.

There is no way they are doing intensive training the day before a cup final.

As far as I'm aware he's kept out of trouble the last few years (apart from that stamp on Kayal, but he swears that was an accident, and let's face it we all enjoyed that ).

My only concern is 10 yellow cards last season in the Championship, what would  that translate to in Scotland with our brain dead refs?

The scurry thing is is the player with the most yellow cards is a midfielder (Haliday with 8)

The next two/three behind him is Wilson with 7 and Kiernan/Wallace with 6.

Then all other defenders have 5.

Is that a lamb scurry or a chicken scurry

Barton would be a huge target, that said he would bring a much needed steel to our team

you should know ;)

He would be, the ref would be itching just to book him.

He'd give us a good solid midfield and he'd teach our midfielders a thing or two as well.

Would actually like to see Joey Barton at our club, He may just keep the rest of the team awake on the park,No chance he would accept any slackers beside him,He still hungry and wants trophies, Warburton will keep him in check,

Alright Joey pal

According to a trusted member on FF who's called many transfers right in the past, the deal is done and we are simply waiting for official confirmation. Barton back in the UK tomorrow and we should expect a press conference tomorrow as well. He will be at the cup final.

I truly hope so!
