NeoGeo7 10,543
Delighted with Thomson getting in. Dont think it will take long for him to move up the ranks to older age groups.
Captain Hilts 12,819
Vignal, Christ there's a blast from the past. Delighted for Thomson. Heard nothing but good things about his academy work. Can't say I've heard of the other guy.

BlueSuedeSambas 53,854
If we truly want to have one of these club wide philosophies with long term succession plans in place then we really need to be bringing more young, intelligent guys like Thomson into the club. After a few years of working with our youths, we should be encouraging them to go out as number ones on their own so they are getting proper managerial experience elsewhere but because they also know the club and how it operates from a coaching POV, we are almost building a pool of coaches who we can dip into when the times comes for us to appoint a new manager in the future. It’s a bit of a fanciful ideal but that’s what we should be striving for.

Bearsden bear 2,376
Chuffed for Thommo (& the Club). Youth is going to be key for us as we don't have the cash nowadays. Glad to see the Club investing in that side of the business.

bluenose244 2,618
Fantastic news, listening to KT on the podcast last night, his passion for the game was immense, and he loves the club and will do his best of that I have no doubt.
AGM_72 3,646
Thomson's been doing great work independently so it's great to see that work pay off. Always speaks well and he played in a European final for us, what an experience to be able to pass on to the kids in the youth teams.
