3 years. he was here 6 months before the 12-month loan was agreed. So Theoretically, if he comes back he will have 18 months on his contract still to go.

Fuck sake do not even 18 months from now but from Jan 2019!

I can't seen him wanting to come back especially with the video of him and the shorts.

We're taking a hit on him, either we sell him on the cheap or we payoff his contract.

or he doesnt come back - and we do him for breach of contract - or his agents gets another club in South America. There's a few permutations before we take a hit. I would see if he is prepared to return to Scotland first - if not, we can dump him.

We can only hope he doesn't want to come back

We waste so much money on shite.

Our “big signings” since the board got in have been MOH, Garner, Pena, Herrera & Cardoso. That’s a near 7 million pound outlay and what return have we had on them, not in terms of a return financially, but in terms of a return on the park. Absolutely nothing.

We have limited funds in comparison to celtic but we seem to be set on pissing them away. It needs to stop.

Actually, for me Pena isn't the worst - the lad obviously has/had talent - "fat", "useless" - yet at one point had the best goalscoring percentage in the league -  but he appears destined to throw it away.

Herrera has absolutely no footballing talent whatsoever.

His first touch could be the worst in professional football

That's been our problem, we've actually recruited fairly well on the low value signings. The likes of Tav, John, Fod, Murphy, Jack, Morelos are all good signings for about £2million in total. But they're overshadowed by the utter failures above.

When you throw in the wages spent on Alves, Krancjar, Barton, Rossiter etc. it's mind boggling how wasteful we are. That's over £100k p/w in wages there, which is over £5million a season in wages alone...

In our current set-up, if we spend £2million + on a player they have to massively enhance the side. celtic also have some shockers, the likes of Kouassi, Gamboa, Hayes, Compper & Musonda have all been crap for them. The problem is they can afford (with CL football) to make those mistakes, we cannot.

The lack of scouting system has set us back.

It's shocking the amount of money wasted on these players. All being signed on manager recommendation alone.

Let's hope MA and the scouts hired have got targets that can improve the squad lined up.

Whoever pushed for that appointment should have been chased down Edmiston Drive, no matter how much he has put into the club.

Whoever it was should be made to personally pay off Pena's contract out of their own pocket.

There's no way he can come back especially after the disrespect he showed us when he left to go on loan.

Yet we're further behind celtic now than we were when pedro got the sack and mark allen apparently brought in better quality in january

This is harsh on Mark Allen.....

Yes the signings made are not world beaters, however for the tight budgets we had he has done well to get experienced and proven players in and was also responsible for Dec John for peanuts.

Loans, permanent deals and the little extra depth for the likes of Murphy, Martin, Cummings and Docherty at the cost of what say Herrera's transfer fee? Puts it into perspective really.

I agree it's a bit harsh on Mark Allen.

We're behind them because of the transfer windows under Warburton and Pedro. I wouldn't be expecting the gap between us and them to close over the course of 1 transfer window.

I think he done well to get decent players on a likely limited budget. January isn't the time to bring in the type of quality we will need to close the gap. We should really only be passing judgment once he and his scouting team have had a couple of windows to work in.

Has anyone been keeping track of him since he went out on loan? If yes, is he getting a game? Is he playing well? Or is he just flopping like we all expect him to be doing. Maybe @denya will have some info? But that's just a guess.

Thanks in advance.

It’s been a car crash. Looks like we’ll have to pay him off at the end of the season.

We should also remember that players like Middleton have great potential and are doing very well in the youth side..

Harsh or not, we are slagging Pedro's signings for being behind the tarriers at the time of his sacking, since then we've had two more old firm games, and the better result came with the pedro squad and not the jan signings

Since january 1st we have lost what? 5 games at ibrox, maybe 6, pedro only lost 2 and one of them was daylight robbery (hibs at home)

To be fair half expected him to go back to Mexico and play a blinder like others have done after they have played shite for us. In this case seems he just has a stinking attitude!

I thought the same but then when you think about it, if he has an attitude problem and Pedro as Rangers manager couldn't fix it, it's naive to think Pedro as Cruz Azul manager would do any better.
