Bates has done well defending, but happy to pass to marked team mates and put them in trouble. Morgan has probably been the best Scottish player.

Same age group, Scotland probably had players with more 1st team experience, but it was men against boys.

I could be wrong but I think Cook is normally the captain so he could have been rested.
