Surely there is a local business who could throw together some custom kits for us. Just bring back the big badge and plain blue with a white trim. Even if they are offering a wee bit less money, we'd surely make it up with extra sales of all sorts of gear because it's better quality, design and make. Obviously within reason ... if someone like Macron, for example, gives us 6 million for x3 years and Nike/Adidas gives us 2 million for same period then there's no point but I don't think there's always automatic benefit just going with the "highest bidder" like what folk say. It pays to have a better, more prestigious brand onside for all sorts of reasons. I don't mean the likes of Brechin or something getting supplied by Nike in that low-end generic deal where it's template strips and no money in it - it's just a case of them sending them the kits and gear and that's it.
