Somebody at The Economist did some research on England, Spain and Italy and although players are running as much and the same number of passes are being completed the overall pace of games has slowed down in all of those leagues. There was apparently another piece in the FT too saying that home advantage has been negated too because referees aren’t being swayed by the crowd and that’s obviously a big part of what home advantage is. If those things translate over to our league too (referee one is optimistic 🙄) then like I said our quality should see us through this game, and hopefully most other games too. So for those who think the Buff won't be risked how do you see us line up? Hagi false 9? Arfield a target and lay off to Kent, Aribo, Hagi? Greg Stewart or Barker? A youth like Middleton or Dapo up top? I think of the limited options (and I hope Morelos just starts), if Morelos doesn't play we will have Arfield at centre forward and the usual supporting 3 hoping he can do a job of holding the ball up.
