I think if it was to happen it would have happened either during a reconstruction period for English football or when we had no league to play in back in 2012. English football doesn't need us either. It's already massive and as much as we are a big club, they aren't needing us. Thankfully we now have access to the money the Champions League brings so should be on a sounder foot financially. Up to the mugs who run the game up here to negotiate better tv deals. What we can and must do is regain control of Scottish football with a view of dragging it into the 21st century. Unlike scum we can be trusted not to abuse such a position and have the authorities bending over backwards to do our will. Only then can meaningful change be undertaken within the SPFL. Dealing with the officials issue, a serious look at league reconstruction, plastic pitches etc etc. Cleaning up the SFA is another matter needing urgent attention. Criminal that we have one the most marketable fixtures in world football but our league gets less TV money that Switzerland and Austria who have no fixtures of any interest whatsoever to anybody outside these countries .
