Really harsh the criticism Simpson is getting he's hardly played. Centre half is one of the more difficult positions to come in and hit the ground running over other positions on the pitch. Its why most teams like stability at centre half so a partnership can develop.

Would  like to see a few young lads but Barjonas is at Ayr, Kelly at County and Dickson at QOTS. Aribo will again be in midfield if Arfield doesnt make it.

Agreed about stability at centre half, which is why ive always wondered why gerrard chopped and changed it so much

Not sure mate but at times we needed quicker centre backs to press the game more and play higher. I like Helander as a defender but we dont squeeze the game as much with him in the side imo especially if the opponent has quick forwards.

Don't know. Probably didn't want his son being led astray. Either that or trying to eliminate the competition(Zungu)?

Mental. Imagine breaking into the first team at Rangers and cause your Dad’s an arsehole your career is over.

The cunts are so insecure and full of inferiority

some lassie from some podcast on sky sports news nearly in tears going on about how this team doesn’t compare to Rodgers invincible team and it’s up to Celtic to show that on Sunday.

fuck Rodgers and his team regardless of wether we go unbeaten or not .

                    McGregor

Tav       Goldson     Helander     Borna

                Davis    Kamara

                        Kent

         Aribo    Morelos   Wright

Kent in there sitting on Brown, how easily Brown gets turned now, Kent would have a field day in there  and it means we can fit Wright into the team aswell.

This would be my line up praying Helanders fit, I don't know about Born in front of Tav tho:mutley:🇬🇧🇬🇧

Strange but for now I honestly don’t give a flying fuck about this.  Come Sunday it’ll probably change but meh for the remaining games.

I've already agreed to work 12hrs on Sunday, not bothered at all at missing it.

Remind how Rodgers' team did in Europe again? Rodgers also faced no competition from a newly promoted and skint Rangers.

Agreed. Can tell if someone’s a player or not within 5-10 minutes usually. Of course you’ll get the occasional player that surprises you, but the fans aren’t daft.

This statement sums up RM match threads, utter nonsense.

Fuck all to do with match threads, which swing from players being world class to dug shite within 30 seconds.

You can judge the majority of players ability and mentality quite quickly in a Rangers shirt. Very few start off with the consensus being that they are shite and then become a success.

Nearly every player we have at the minute with maybe a couple of exceptions have been writ off as shite on here, Aribo gets writ off on a weekly basis ffs, no doubt you were probably one of the many that writ Tavernier off as not having the "mentality"  of captaining the team to a league title.

Nope, backed Tav since the start.

Don’t need 18 months to know if someone has ‘it’ to play for Rangers or not.

It takes some players 6 months to a year to find their feet in Scotland. Seeing someone make a handful of appearances, most of them from the bench isn't a good indication if a player is up to it or not.

What we've seen of Simpson so far hasn't been that encouraging but give the lad a chance mate.

Remember Borna in his first season with us?

And Morelos.

Hately took a full season to get up to speed.

To me thats harsh on him whenever ive seen people say that, he scored 15 in 42 games in a season where we rotated between him, mccoist and johnston for a front pairing

Iirc he scored a double on his debut as well
