I read it as more of a confict of interest with Douglas Parks car sales business, which to me, is  perfectly valid.

I mean why would you willingly promote  a rival?

I hope that isn't the reason as I am not sure that is a valid reason object to cinch. If you consider there are 42 clubs many with businessmen on their boards the SPFL would be very restricted in who they could do sponsorship deals with. If it conflicts with a commercial deal we already had in place then that us different, but certainly none of our list of sponsors seem to conflict.

Biggest sponsorship deal in the history of the league.

£8m between 42 clubs over how many years?

Fuck me, how much was the Ladbrokes or the other deals worth then.

Ladbrokes was £5mil over 2 seasons.  No idea about the other deals.

£8mil shared amongst 42 clubs until 2025/26 sounds an absolute pish deal to me.

As Robertson said we're underselling tthe product.

If every club was to get an equal amount each season it’s 38k each a season for 5 seasons, so it is an absolute pish deal.

This is the rule that Rangers believe means we don’t need to display the cinch logo on our strips and on the interview boards

Not the cleverest at this kind of thing, what current contract do we have, have we sold the space on the sleeve already?
