Can’t trust a word that comes out of the mouth of David Edgar anymore, sadly.

Either deliberately or naively, he continues to post stuff on behalf of the club that turns out to be utter fucking nonsense at best and outright lies, at worst.

It's funny listening to all the chat on the recent podcasts about how our starting XI hasn't been improved upon in 18 months. How it's all Wilson's fault.

But none of them seem willing to question (deliberately or naively) why we've had no money to spend on those improvements? The idea that it's a straight forward task to improve a championship winning side with bosmans is ludicrous.

Wilson deserves criticism as does Gerrard for failing vs Malmo but the board get away unscathed, somehow.

I have no doubts Gerrard thought we would strengthen after winning the league last season, the board then said ‘we’re skint cos of covid and we backed you last summer so sell before you buy’.

He then took the huff and kept everyone to force it, thinking they would cave or fund once in the CL. However, his stubborn attitude meant we went in to those qualifiers completely unprepared and it all unravelled from there.

Like across the city this season, we should have done the business early after wrapping the league up in March, not leave it until halfway through June or July to have a manager go in the huff.

You should turn this into a novel mate.

Like Trainspotting, but about Rangers.
