Will be interesting to see whether they actually use the random selector this season.

There has never been a random selector, mad that people haven't realised this yet.

Whatever the outcome here, FF, twitter and Facebook will be full of weirdos contorting themselves into how the SPFL have fucked us over again in favour of Celtic.

The exact same people who were fuming at our tough winter schedule will now be fuming that we have a tough opening round of fixtures and in theory easy winter schedule.

Admin should ban anyone that mentions random computer.

Instead of using the random selector machine,or they could just use a seeding method to ensure every team gets to play each other twice home and away.
Honestly think that would be a fairer system.:sarcasm:

I don't get what you mean by a seeding method?

If we wanted every team to play home and away twice we would have a 44 game season like back in the 80s and early 90s.

Quite sure somebody will be along toot sweet to tell you how it works after the top six has been predicted from last seasons positions, and there you have the top six having played each other twice home and away.
BUT!!...don't take that as gospel as sometimes you could have an extra away or home match.

It's impossible to guarantee home and away working out evenly. I don't think the Premier League/Premiership has had a perfect season in that regard since the split was introduced (19 homes and aways for every team as well as 2 home and 2 away against post-split opponents).

Only a proper complete and even set of rounds guarantees even fixtures.

I swear I've explained it to the same posters on here at least a couple of times.
