And they have CL money. We’ve spent 15 a year past 2 seasons.. They could absolutely spend 30. Whether they will is a different question. But they could unless that cash is needed for litigation. They've consistently spent 20 million on their squad every summer for the last 5 seasons, sometimes more. They'll spend 30 at some point, maybe even this summer if they have their own rebuild to do. Swagger 8,427 Posted Tuesday at 21:34 Share Posted Tuesday at 21:34 Want to see improvement all over the pitch and no more of the turgid pish we see week in week out. Stronger mentality and a bit more of a nasty streak from our players. Don’t expect to win the league but have to see things going in the right direction

I dont disagree, but the point is they'll at some point break that 30 mill barrier. In that respect, they are so far in front of us. plymouthranger and OrangeRab
Bobby Hume 13,592 Posted Wednesday at 01:58 Share Posted Wednesday at 01:58 Realistic expectations ..... to compete at the highest level we can achieve with a squad going through transition this season and possibly next ... and have players who are physically and mentally robust enough to last the season out without major injuries plaguing our season and our chances of real success. Under no illusions that we will be the top dogs this season but would expect to see much improved and regular overall team performances especially in the league ... as it is the most important trophy and the one that leads to greater financial rewards and prestige for our Club. Getting the majority of wins against them in all competitions ... but imperative to win the league games .... don't care about the cups ... the league is the main target. Still have faith in Clement's coaching team with DOF Koppen hopefully uncovering some real talent ... and given as much backing by the investors as financially possible and with shrewd and effective signings that obviously improve our playing style .... leading to increased wins with no more slip ups against inferior teams. It just has to be better than last season ... as that one was so disappointing to say the least with little to cheer about. 🇬🇧 scottyscott1963, roboscot, HG5 and 1 other
mark1963 908 Posted Wednesday at 07:23 Share Posted Wednesday at 07:23 Expectations , be much more clinical all over the pitch not just in front of goal ,I want players involved winning their personal battles ,if they are not performing then they need hooked earlier.i also hope to see manager for once with an ability to change tactics and formations . Our transfer business is fucking grim, given the amount of work our squad requires and the fact that there's about 4 weeks to go until the season starts. graeme_4 35,783 Posted Wednesday at 13:44 Share Posted Wednesday at 13:44 Expectations are lowering every day tbh. No real quality brought in and we’re 4 weeks out. How is PC meant to implement his style / system / fitness regime at these timescales? MacBoyd, plymouthranger and HG5
GA1972 9,916 Posted Wednesday at 17:54 Share Posted Wednesday at 17:54 Play like a team that is desperate to win rather than one that’s scared to lose. That’s all I ask cascadeshrimp and Bobby Hume
SeparateEntityMyArse 54,576 Posted Wednesday at 19:05 Share Posted Wednesday at 19:05 I'm still confident we'll bring in some quality, experienced players. It'll just be Rangers doing Rangers things and saving a month or so wages before we start them 😂 Bobby Hume
plymouthranger 3,969 Posted Wednesday at 19:58 Share Posted Wednesday at 19:58 A decent side to watch who put the crap in the league to sword. Hopefully make CL but accept that playoff round draw could stuff us depending on who we get. We need to win at least one of the first two OFs and be within touching distance by January. If we can further strengthen then, we’ll see what the final 5 months of the season bring.
Super Ally Scores Again! 503 Posted Wednesday at 23:04 Share Posted Wednesday at 23:04 As low as a I can remember for a long time Financially miles behind with tricky ties ahead away from Ibrox Currently nowhere near enough transfer activity to improve things Seasons not even started and we r playing catchup
Madina 4,023 Posted Thursday at 02:01 Share Posted Thursday at 02:01 As with every season these days, my heart says we win the treble and my head says maybe a cup at best. Still scunnered with the last 2 months of last season. Not enough deadwood moved on from the squad. Not being at Ibrox for the beginning of the season. Just feeling meh already about 24/25. Prove me wrong Rangers
