We (Rangers supporters) would be a fascinating clinical trial for the human mind’s power of resilience. I’d go with Butland, Tav, Propper, Balogun, Yilmaz, Barron, Diomande, Sterling (if fit), Cerny, Cortés and Dessers. Throw the two new boys in at the deep end. Where on earth are you getting only two fit midfielders from? Barron, Diomande, Lawrence likely start. We’ve missed out on at least a couple of targets in this area already - not sure what more the club can do?! If we didn’t sign a defender it would be the same cry, likewise a RW. Money been spent on investing in the future is absolutely crucial. Short term thinking wins us the occasional trophy followed by years of rebuilding. We need to break the cycle.
