Sorry but Clement got his set up wrong (and everyone clamoured for that line up on here).

Games away at Parkhead are tough and we have zero fans there, so you can’t press high and treat it like a normal game. We need to learn to sit in and absorb pressure and then be decisive on counter attacks.

Time and time again we can’t defend, we overcommit going forwards and leave ourselves exposed to their counter (which is what they’re good at, it’s why Kyogo starts over Idah for them against us).

The 4-2-3-1 doesn’t work in these games. Clement needs to learn to fucking adapt, we’d be far better off with a 3-5-2 or a 4-1-4-1 in these games.

The lineup was fine, the execution wasn’t.

Ironic you of all people should ask that.

How is it happy clapping  explain yerself ?

We’re fucking rotten doesn’t matter who we start with. Fact is the managers spent millions to bring him in so he’s got to fucking play him in the biggest game of the season so far. Turns out he had a stinking match, if Balogun had started it would have been the same outcome and we’d all  be going off out nut that propper was left on the bench.

Stop acting like a fanny cause you somehow think Propper being poor proves you to be right 🤣

Our defence isn't good enough to absorb pressure tbh. Also to play a counter attacking game we would need pace up front, which barring Matondo we don't.

And whilst he has pace, he doesn't have much else.

It didnt, we chucked it

They scored after about 10 minutes from that offside goal did they not? Passed right through our press. We just aren’t good at all. Chucking it maybe part of the problem but it’s not the main reason we keep losing, we have zero quality.

The execution hasn't been fine for years using this exact setup.

Maybe it's time we look at the setup and stop expecting to play in the same way and the result be different.

It was clearly obvious before the game Tav and Jefte at fullback were going to be a disaster, if we didn't have anyone else to play there we should have set up in a way that didn't leave 2 poor defensive players exposed.

So you can’t answer why saying Balogun wouldn’t have made a difference is happy clapping.

Thanks.

I had a read back at the post you accused of being “happy clapping” and clearly you’ve no idea what that actually is.

Happy Clapping would be sitting here this afternoon saying “oh what a good bunch of lads, they lost but they tried their best. We just need to accept that they’re better than us, second is still alright. Oh aye and I fancy John Bennett.”

I can assure you that no cunt is doing that.

We need to be tough to beat. We can't defend and we have so many physically weak players it's painful.

5 3 2 would be a good sit in and counter but we don't have the pace or skill in Attack to do anything.

Might have had the decency to use it when tracking that Johnson to the bye line.

Exactly, I just meant going fwd. His heads in the clouds most of the time. Probably still thinking about preseason camp where the majority of the players said he's the "funniest" in the squad

They're not fucking wrong there!

Same old story. Same old excuses. Nothing changes. Tav cannot play in these matches again.

We couldn't go into this season with Tav as first choice right back and captain. We have and we are seeing why it shouldn't have happened. Apparently the guy from Feyenoord can play RB hopefully he gets the opportunity.

Utter nonsense 😂

Maybe if we had the likes of Gough and Bomber at the back.

Quality only appears after workrate is matched.

If we chuck the hard running after 10mins we are getting fuck all out the game. Lets be honest, thats why it looks "easy" for them scoring goals. We dont track, we dont block runs etc
