Nothing there that I disagree with. Johns always called a spade a spade and is a steady pair of hands.

Hopefully we get a good quality CEO in over the next 3-4 months and a chairman if needed, although a strong 2-3 non exec directors for advice could probably work instead.

Yes, and also get the freeloading passengers (ie Alistair Johnston) removed from the Board.

Fresh loans from the existing shareholders isn’t sustainable.

This , that can’t keep going on ,why didnt a journalist ask that ?

none of the directors wanted to be chairman,so he stepped up?

whose going to take that roll long term then?

why didn’t he call king last night(as a major shareholder) knowing he was talking to the press today? To stop this tit for tat nonsense

you can bet king will be on talk sport talking to white and the merry go round will go on 🤦‍♂️

There is no tit for tat nonsense.

It's completely one sided nonsense.

"It’s only destabilising if we don’t have a plan, we have a plan"

We have a plan well from the outside it certainly doesn't look like it as this board has stumbled from one mistake to another.

Let's see if we can start fixing this mess with a competent CEO.

The king stuff is just another mess being played out in public. Like a couple of kids fighting back and fourth now.

It's not back and forth though. It's all been coming from King's side.

I fear we need major fresh investment, not the usual suspects having a whip round

Totally agree. This model of board members throwing in a million here and there just to cover costs and buy the odd bargain basement player won’t work in the long term.

We are light years away from player trading profitability and CL qualification.

Im not saying King is the answer, but we do need new dynamic leadership with funding to allow an immediate challenge on our rivals.
Waiting years on player trading won’t satisfy a lot of our support.

Not sure if it's what you need in a chairman, but he's funny at least

What was funny? It’s a joke this guy is our chairman with no signs of improvement. Sorry but that guy inspires zero confidence

Said more in a 20 minute press conference than Bennett did in 2 years but even then it wasnt much. He's certainly got the best intentions at heart does JG. Just the fact it's even got to this stage is absurd in itself

You reckon? More kicking the can down the road imo, no decisions made, no further forward in any searches.

Lot of look we're trying..

That’s the main point of his that I would take issue with.

And if it’s forthcoming from the existing major investors, why wait until we’re trying to emerge from a bit of a crisis before stumping up?

"we will continue to chase celtic" was not a good way to put it.

We are chasing them now though. In just about every way at a footballing level we are now chasing them. They’re the best side in Scotland now by quite a considerable distance, both on the pitch winning silverware and financially

Yep.

Dodging the reality of the situation will only prolong this misery.
