That only applies to the law. A company has no such burden. If they don't want you in their stadium while you await an outcome to criminal charges then that's entirely their right.

Being “their right” doesn’t automatically make it the right thing to do though.

It's an incredibly common thing. No different to an employer suspending you pending an investigation into a disciplinary.

Tbh, I've no issue with the club revoking tickets from anyone awaiting criminal proceedings. It's pretty standard. It's how they act when any are cleared that's the real test.

To be fair if these boys were waiting to go to court for attempted murder in the stadium then it’s more understandable. Banning people for being 5-6 feet on the pitch for less than a minute is the issue.

True, but the club will look at is as an alleged offence which took place inside the ground so will want to be seen to be dealing with any 'disorder' inside stadia.

Blanket bans such as this don't represent justice, which is why the law doesn't use them, its the stuff of school playgrounds. Its no way to treat loyal customers and that should mean more to our club than most given the loyalty that the fans have shown the club over the past 7 years.

It's not too late to do the right thing.

The law does similar. Anyone held on remand before trial is essentially being punished before guilt is established.

Point missed totally.  We should be leaders setting examples a class above the others that’s what being a Ranger is about  both on and off the field

Let’s all stand and clap a jolly good goal old chap.

As some of you may be aware, Rangers Football Club have banned anybody who has been charged by Police Scotland in relation to the celebrations after Connor Goldson’s winner during the above fixture. It is worth noting that not only have these boys had their season tickets withdrawn without any compensation, they do not accept any guilt, nor have they been found guilty in a court of law, yet RFC are judging them guilty until proven innocent. We are urging the club to overturn these over zealous decisions, until/if any convictions are made.

Speaking personally, some of these boys have had season tickets for over a decade, followed us during the years which followed administration, all over Scotland and in Europe when qualification came. They are not only disappointed, but extremely saddened that the club have opted to act in this manner.

I plead with anyone who wants to help the affected to please sign the petition below. Your time and signatures are extremely appreciated.

Update

2 DEC 2019 —

All of those who were banned by the club and also had a football banning order (FBO) in Scotland as a result of the police investigation have since had their temporary FBO’s removed in a court of law when pleading either guilty or not guilty.

The condition in each of these cases involves not attending a regulated football match at Rugby Park.

As a result of this, Rangers should revoke the club bans, re-allocate season tickets and re-instate members on the relevant CCCS schemes that they were removed from.

The law deems each of these loyal supporters fit to attend matches so therefore Rangers should reward their loyalty and refrain from such punishments until, if, a fan is found guilty of these in a court of law.

All that Rangers would be required to do is not ballot the accused fans for the match against Kilmarnock away from home In February.

Agree with all of that bar re-instating them to the cccs, the schemes hard enough as it is

Good.

Hope to fuck the club do the right thing

:tu:

It would be good PR if they did remove the Club ban from these fans .... now is the time to get this petition into Ibrox and let the Club know that removing the Club ban is the right thing to do ..... Fuck me ... it's one of the very very rare occasions we have actually won in a court of law.

Surely even DK would sanction this victory for common sense by giving the lads a pardon .... :p:

Shocking. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

It is bullshit but I can see the reasoning behind it, if someone was due to appear in court next week and then they get arrested again for a similar offence it reflects badly on the Club and leaves them open to criticism from.the media

They’ve literally got a convicted stalker who is the cause of a couple stopping attending, going to games with no ban.
