Madjid Souttherra imo.

I don't mind him as a player, but I don't think he fits in or is needed. We complain when players with a decent value eventually leave for nothing and I think this is one of those opportunities.

2 DMs in front of a back 4 is what you play when you are hoping for a draw. I hope Beale faces several questions on this from journalists (not likely).
We should be selecting line ups with some arrogance and swagger about us not dropping to the same negative formation approach as the rest of the league.
And I’ve never understood this unwritten rule about brand new signings having to be on the bench. Danilo, Cifuentes.

We’ll likely never see him play for us consistently, I think this could be another Helander situation where his career is all but done
Based on what medical facts?

There will have been a deadline for us to do it by. If we didn’t then it’s like bidding for any other player.
Is it just a theory that we didn’t bid by the deadline or has it been reported somewhere? I just saw it say they could decline the offer - without it saying on what grounds.

Didn’t Beale describe the situation a while ago in a press conference as being a completely set fee and more or less a formality should we (and Tillman) want it to happen? It was made to sound like Bayern would have no say in it.
Something not quite right….
Having the right to reject the set fee sounds like a bizarre self-defeating thing to have in the agreement.

Donated. Thanks for posting this. Like many, I wasn’t aware of it and it’s terrible.

Already is from what I've seen so far.

If we can break even on Davies then we'll have dodged a bullet, imo he's worth 400k at best but he's came from England bla bla bla.
I thought we paid £4m for him when he had only a year left on his contract? If so then - questionable performances aside - he should be worth comfortably more?

Ordinarily I'd agree. But it's the official squad account. All the players we've ever had since Gerrard joined, have been in that group.
Locked group, in which home tasks etc are sent out to players via a group chat.
But given he is not a Rangers player right now then surely it’s not that strange to remove him?

Season is finished now, is it time for a proper transfers section?

Two or three more players of the same calibre as cantwell and we will be playing some excellent football next season.
Best player in the league since he signed, no question.

Seemed when the red turned he seen who it was so booked him for that
I don't doubt that was part of the refs logic. But given how weirdly early he went in with a two footed challenge then I think a yellow was coming as soon as he made contact. The fact its Morelos just seems to make it that bit easier for refs to book him, but in this case I think it was still a yellow.

May be wrong but looked like fuck all contact. Very Harsh booking for me.
His knee went hard into the players shin. He was out of control. Not a shocking challenge but a little wild and a yellow. I think the issue is that other challenges go unpunished.

Morelos should be knocking down Beale’s door demanding a start and ending things on a high(er) note.
If Morelos wanted to end things on a higher note he should have been demonstrating it in his last few matches. Instead he has proven beyond all doubt that he can't or won't play at a half decent level. Doesn't deserve another minute.

I've got this worry that the board haven't read the room and want to appease the fans by persuading one of these two to sign on again. Hope to god I'm wrong. I'll relax when they are gone but they are 1st picks right now and have been for most of this season despite looking useless. Seems they are rated within the club much more highly than amongst the fanbase. Yes we've had injuries but we do have other options for those positions. Personally from now on I'd start literally any of our attacking players ahead of both of them.

Morelos survives to amble for another day.
His lack of mobility is breathtaking. 3 players playing further up than him but all are back defending when we are out of position. Just bumbling around. Surely ANYONE on the bench can improve on him?

At least he is creating the chances that he’s fucking up. Unlike Kent. 😂

An upgrade on our front three would see us winning this game. I dont think they are far better than we are.. We do, however, have so many mistakes in us which is really killing us in these games.
Exactly. Our biggest goal threat seems to be midfielders running from deep with the ball. Once the front 3 get involved it goes to shit.
If we had a front 3 that put them under pressure we’d absolutely see mistakes from them also.

On a positive note - Matondo suddenly looks like a world beater.
Disclaimer: tongue in cheek, but based on a hugely better start to this season than his appallingly low standard or last year.
