simplythebestest got a reaction from FSM in Club and league UEFA coefficients
I agree us being in the group stages and them not wouldn't close the gap in and of itself. Winning it might - but I see your point.
Just looked it up out of interest. It seems to add up to about £14+ million in prize money for winning it (about £3m to 4m for reaching group stages). Plus gate money which might be up to about £5m. That's £20m for winning it. Then with a bit of luck you could bank £20+ million selling a few top, top performers. Add a few million here and there for increased top sales, tv rights, sponsors etc. That £40m+ would close the gap imo.
Not arguing mate - just thought I'd share the numbers.

The willful ignorance of this article is astounding. The way he takes issue with what Gerrard said is very childish and immature. A potted version of Gerard's words would be "I believe Rangers have had more decisions go against them than other teams for multiple seasons." He then claims that by not conducting his own research, Gerrard can't make the claim.
If I said "I believe the Earth has been rotating around the sun for years", could this author take issue with that claim on the basis that I didn't get a degree in astrophysics and prove the phenomenon myself via complex mathematics? Or is there an acceptance that a commonly held belief can be reported as your own opinion without having to do all the research in laboratory like conditions on your own?
I believe any person who's opinions aren't clouded by hatred can see that this article is finding fault with Gerard's statement purely because of the team he represents. And that is a horrible thing to realise. That the freedom of press is being abused by ignorant idiots to present a biased, hate-filled diatribe against another human being on the basis of which football team he represents.

Imagine he could master 1-on-1's. Would be the best counter-attacking lone-striker in the game ?

He’s a great young talent. He is being used exactly how young talent should be used. He’s in the squad getting a bit of game time.
Only reason it feels like he’s been put in the shadows is because we were so shit last season that he was seen as a key player which probably didn’t help his development.
He was a lamb to the slaughter against the beasts when Murty put him at Centre back alongside Martin.

These are two seperate issues in my opinion. Yes, Morelos should be smarter. But our players shouldn't have to be smarter than theirs to get the same outcome. That's the definition of unfair.

When a linesman says he didnt see a blatant barge on one of our players that was verging on assault but saw our player kick out, where both incidents took place almost simultaneously its hardly surprising we are questioning impartiality of match officials.
