Tell Lammers to fuck off and we're left with 2 players who have cost us nothing who will unquestionably offer more in the second half of the season than Lammers and potentially Lawrence too. One who we might be able to cash in on in the summer if he hits some form and a youngster who we might be able to make a decision on finally with a real manager getting the best out of him. Win, win situation. 
And a 3rd, huge win if we don't ever see Lammers again. 

Think describing Hagi as shite is a bit extreme. He is massively inconsistent and when he is not on it he can be horrific, but at his best he is capable of producing moments that can change / win games.
 
Do I want him long term as part of our squad going forward? No
 
Would I prefer him to be the backup to Cantwell / Lawrence over Lammers? 100%

If he was at the club ATM he would be playing in CM (was playing that role at the start of the season) but by the time we could get him back hopefully our midfield injury situation has cleared.
 
For the second half of the season I would 100% have him back. Unless we have miraculously found the budget for a massive overhaul I can’t see a no. 10 being a priority over other areas in the January window so would rather have Hagi back than persist with Lammers.

Fully agree with what you’ve posted. One thing in our favour right now is there is 100% an underlying issue with Rodgers from the celtic support, It’s been off since he came back up here. Personally I felt they were always a few bad results away from their masks slipping to reveal their true feelings. It’s something we need to take advantage of and put as much pressure on as possible. You would be well in your right to argue that Rodgers had it very easy first time around up here and we’ve not seen him come up against a proper challenge. Thank fuck we pressed the button when we did and got rid of the diddy and got what seems to be a proper football manager in the door.

Since Clement has came in lundstram has been our best player, and our best midfielder by a fair distance. If he can keep this form up he is worth a new deal for sure, just not on the money he is currently on. At this stage of his career he will find it hard to get a deal like the one he is on now.

just not smart to lose your best midfielder for nothing. Even more so when everyone around him is nowhere near the level needed to play for us. without him we would have zero players that are competent at defending in the middle. 
from what i see lundstram is running the midfield and trying to help defensively. he is a player most players would love to play with.

I’ve absolutely zero confidence in us winning the LC, but totally bought into the manager. Bizarre headspace to be in.

Love the optimism and I share the belief that we can be Champions this season, however there is still the case of making a Silk purse out of a pigs ear with regard to the squad that has proven to be serial bottlers over the last few seasons. The League Cup Final on Sunday is therefore one of, if not the most important games we have played since sealing 55. Win it, we are flying on our way to a Treble, lose and we are back to square one.
