Real to who though, some Nationalist bangers and tarriers on twitter?
To put it into perspective, in last few months Dornan has accused our players of singing fuck the pope due to a video by willie wanker and stated he would apologise if proven it was false and when it was proven false there was no apology. He then accused Edinburgh buses of being sectarian.
Humza also accused players of sectarianism and again no retraction when video was confirmed as false.
Michael Stewart said there was no evidence that Glen Kamara was racially abused.
These 3 are absolute no marks who no one in right mind takes seriously, especially our fans, when it comes to Rangers.
Absolutely true that they are no marks. But unfortunately the media give them a platform which can and is used to damage our club. And sadly there’s a large enough proportion of our society lap that shit up.

Doesn't matter what I think. It has been deemed to be offensive and illegal.
Being called 'orange bastard' wouldnt really offend me ether, but like the famine song, it is sectarian.
And there is the real root of the problem. Not that a song is offensive, but that it has been deemed offensive for no other reason that it suits a narrative.
Which is the point I was trying to make about Flower of Scotland - and possibly a fair number of national anthems. If you want to twist them to be offensive you can.

Im not sure how putting the non offensive words of Flower of Scotland up shows how inoffensive the famine song is.
You cant be telling folk to get the fuck out of their country and back to the land of their ancestors. That is offensive.
Saying you sent an invading king and his army back home is completely different. The song is not saying to fuck off back home if your granny was english.
So, you think the Famine Song is offensive?
It’s an ironic chant aimed at the members of our society who make it clear that they consider Ireland to be a better place than Scotland. Therefore if it’s so much better why don’t they go home. Like most football chants it’s on the edge of being politically incorrect but nothing more than that.

To be honest, reading the lyrics, its even less racist than I thought.
I honestly think that people should drop the 'flower of scotland' mock offence as it belittles the argument something stupid!
I’m far from offended by Flower of Scotland but what I’m trying to get at is that is how inoffensive the famine song actually is. And that songs only seem to be offensive when it suits an agenda.

I reckon the Japanese Messi showed his true colours today. Couldn’t deal with being dealt with physically - went into hiding. Missed one chance, then when a similar chance presented itself he passed the buck and passed it inside.
Heartless shitebag who’ll disappear now he’s been found out. From Japanese Messi to Japanese Ajeti in one match…..
-
I think he was immense today and definitely gets what it means to play for us.
I think he showed that the Japanese Messi is lacking heart when he doesn’t get it all his own way. Brilliant
-
He should only not play for football or tactical reasons should the manager decide.
By not playing it’s letting the racists win.
-
I’d love to see them win this league too.

His smile when asked permanent or loan would suggest it's someone with a bit left on their contract. Could it be Veerman on loan with an option to buy. With guaranteed champions League money for the the league winner it would make sense.
We can hope! But not sure he’s the profile of player Gerrard is talking about.

Every successful team has a number of unofficial captains on the pitch but one clear leader in the style of Butcher, Gough or Greig.
Our best team in my lifetime in the early 90s epitomised this with Goram, Brown, Davie Robertson, McCall, Ian Ferguson, Hateley, and even McCoist as leaders on the pitch.

Gerrard has struggled to get that holding midfielder to challenge Jack. Hopefully whoever they are looking at is an improvement on Zunga or Koulibaly. Neither really fitted in.

They were decent last season but losing key players would hurt any side and they just lost their league opener to one of the worst sides in the division.
That could be a description of celtic. Other than the ‘decent last season’ bit.

I see Stoke are punting James McClean.
Loathsome excuse for a human being…..would be a match made in heaven.

This place must be some laugh for the lurkers in here.....they will genuinely be believing that many in here are shitting themselves from this new look side, whilst I will always respect a team that can score goals you then have to weigh up the level of opposition that these goals are being scored against.....so far I have ye to see them play against any sort of opposition.....the fact that they have lost plenty of goals against piss poor opposition is the bit that stands out for me....far to early to be wetting the bed over that lot....let's see where they are in 3 months time
Nailed it with the lost goals comment.

Imagine we were to appoint the Technical Director of another SPFL club as a consultant the same week we beat the club 6-0, said club having previously changed it’s vote to award us a league title.
The press, conspiracy theorists and moon-howlers would be having a field day, calling out corruption etc.

Saw it earlier mate and dismissed it as pish as Glen Kamara never even got a mention.
That is one of the reasons the DR building should be bulldozed into the Clyde.
A wee snippet about some guy Adams who played with Rangers and diddled his old grandas bank account.
Gordon Ramsey actually played more minutes than this guy who played for another dozen clubs after playing zero games for us 20 fuckin years ago.
Any tenuous link from a shite rag.Yes….linked the Rangers youth connection to Grant Adam but somehow didn’t refer to the fact it’s Charlie Adam’s brother….🤔

Out with this season this Greek kebab merchant looks every bit the journeyman. Here’s hoping.
