So he collapses...then end the program within a few minutes?

Now is that not disrespectful? Isn't that assuming the worst?

A lot of people watching the game will be very worried about the lad. Some people will have been disappointed in ESPN to end the show and then they have to scramble around looking for other sources of information.

Again that's not the point. A channel cannot prepare for that incident.

Mind boggling offendedism.

Everyone is waiting for news on what happened, and the ESPN team are talking about what happened. What were people expecting them to do?

Screwballs.

I would, horrible IRA loving bastard that he is

He's from the opposite end of the spectrum, full of hatred. But I couldn't wish death on someone if they didn't fully deserve it, especially after todays scenes

1911

BBC Radio 5 live's senior football reporter Ian Dennis at White Hart Lane, and talking about Fabrice Muamba's condition: "I've been speaking to members of the Bolton backroom staff, who say he is one of the fittest players at the club. You could see medical staff using a defibrillator and he was electronically charged on to least two occasions. Everybody could see Fabrice Muamba was fighting for his life on the pitch."

Can only fear the worst right now. Shockin that the players weren't brought off sooner and ESPN's coverage was nothing short of embarrassing.

One thing discussing the incidence for a few minutes, but over and over for 20+ minutes and then practically taking the discussion to" have you seen anyone die on the park before" was disgusting.

Did espn jus show the hole thing and not cut off the cameras is that why everyones up in arms about this?

More the discussion after where they discussed several similar incidents, Marv Vivien-Foe etc. Also John Barnes turning it into the Hillsbrough hour. Fucking embarrassing.

They handled the whole thing while it was happening very well, they only showed him on the ground initially, but once they realised how bad it was, they just kept showing wide shots or shots of the public. It was the discussion afterwards in the studio and with Champion, who was commentating, that was a bit cringeworthy to say the least. I know they are not prepared for such things, how could they be, but John Barnes was rambling on like a muppet.

If anything champion was a bit ott with things but ESPN hadn't really done nowt out of sorts with these things, what is the right thing when the players and everyone there is in disbelief
