donegal_ger 253
Lee McCulloch to takeover as player managerI am beginning to think thats the only way we can get him out of the team.
Chambo 197
I am beginning to think thats the only way we can get him out of the team.Who would you put in at CB instead of McCulloch?
The Godfather 72,390
Zaliukas would be a far better option but who knows if he is fit or not.Foster-----McGreggor---Zaliukas----WallaceThat's about as good as we have. Foster is terrible but who else can play there? Jig lacks speed badly and his positional awareness is far too poor to be a CB. It was able to be papered over last season and before against the gutter teams in Scotland but against the tims he'd be exposed badly IMO. donegal_ger 253
Who would you put in at CB instead of McCulloch?Anyone, a traffic cone, the dummies they use for walls at free kick training both of those options are more mobile than Lee, because of his lack of mobility and know how on playing the position leaves our team so unbalanced because others have to cover too much for his failings thus leaving huge gaps all over the field that every side we play exploits much to our cost. He's been the one common denominator in our shambolic central defence for the last season and a half.Anyway on a serious note since Zaliukas and Moshni are unavailable I would give Faure a run there until either of those two return but in all honesty all our first team defenders are not good enough except Wallace and he's not as good as many on here believe. dan_ger 1,454
If he's going to work for the club for a year they should get him working on developing a scouting system and the running of the youth set-up. Or is that not allowed as he is employed as assistant manager?

Bears r us 30,893
The club statement says he 'will remain 100% committed to his normal duties' what will that duties be, our caretaker MANAGER ??????
harlands plater 17,007
We need to get somebody from somewhere to lift this sorry excuse for a team and motivate them enough to make the playoffs. WATP-FOREVER 5,231
I'd like a good long term manager - Derek McInnes - good manager - Rangers supporter - demands respect - young enough for Rangers for many many years - WATP.

surfsup2 1,541
What about asking Hateley to help out Durie for the next month. He's been watching most games sitting in the directors box and prob can see some of our problems and what needs done as we can't afford to change anything. Not a permant role just to help Durie with tactics and motivation for the next couple of games maybe some fresh ideas.we need all the help we can get and as can't afford to pay for any ...not sure if he is employed in some role at the club. It's not perfect but we have nothing else left and these guys are Rangers men. whytes3 254
It is farcical that we have had no formal statement on what we plan to do about getting a 1st team manger/coach in place. Our first XI is a rudderless ship enough as it is without any form of manager being in place. As much as the off field matters seem to be taking up everyone's time, we need to ensure that we doon't have another repeat of our December form
trueblueal 2,117
It's pathetic we now have a manager on gardening leave, an assistant working his notice, a first team coach demoted but still at the club, 13 players out of contract, best prospect sold, house about to be mortgaged, no money to pay the wages and no c*nt telling us what the fuck is going on.
