FIFA have stepped into the Rangers argument by announcing the Ibrox side ARE the same club.

Following the reign of Craig Whyte, Rangers were relegated to the bottom tier of Scottish football following the operating company’s liquidation with many Scottish football fans saying Rangers are a new club and calling them Sevco - in reference to the name of the company Charles Green set up to run the club, with Celtic fans even paying for an advert in a newspaper to state that Rangers are a new club .

But FIFA have now rejected those claims as they promote the latest edition of their weekly magazine saying: “After their enforced relegation in 2012, Glasgow Rangers are in the hunt for promotion back to Scotland’s top flight.”

The statement comes a matter of months after SPFL chief Neil Doncaster also stated that Rangers are the same club when he said: Doncaster said: “In terms of the question about old club, new club, that was settled very much by the Lord Nimmo Smith commission that was put together by the SPL to look at EBT payments at that time.

“The decision, very clearly from the commission, was that the club is the same, the club continues, albeit it is owned by a new company, but the club is the same.

“It’s the same club, absolutely.

“The member club is the entity that participates in our league and we have 42 member clubs.

“Those clubs may be owned by a company, sometimes it’s a Private Limited Company, sometimes it’s a PLC, but ultimately, the company is a legal entity in its own right, which owns a member club that participates in the league.

“It was put to bed by the Lord Nimmo Smith commission some while ago – it’s the same club.”

You don't have to tell us, we all know the truth. Infact, I'm pretty sure most of the haters and naysayers actually know the truth, they're songs, actions and obsessive nature towards us show that, they just refuse to admit it.

I don't even bother arguing with tims or no mark fans of the other diddy clubs when they bring it up, they are purely looking for a reaction. Fuck them.

Once we are more settled I'd like us to take the bigger players to court if they do try and keep this shite going. It may be worth our while financially and will shut a few of the outlets up who love spouting this pish. Everyone who matters is on our side, the law included, so earning a few £££ due to damages should be relatively easy for us.

Of course we are. Same club but just owned by a different company. We could be owned by Scooby Dooby Doo Ltd and still be Rangers.

FIFA have said it. UEFA have said it. SFA/SPFL have said it. The law says it (See Lord Nimmo Smith). Anyone with half a brain would say it. So it's no surprise that this lot still can't get their heads around it. Is it still 2012? We get it...we're rivals and we like to make fun and hate on each other but get over it.

Still the same club. And we're coming to get out 55th title.

Neil Lennon, Martin O'Neil and even the Hag could tell them and they'd still deny it.................... Oh wait a minute!

Tbh taigs don't bother me its filth like Spiers, Spence and English pedalling this that infuriates me. These cunts know fine well what they're doing be trying to destabilise the club and brand.
