Has Murty already failed?

Credit where credit is due if Murty can get a bunch of average players playing with commitment and super shape as they just did we'll be fine. Imagine what he will be able to do if the board let him buy 5 or 6 top quality players in the Jan window. Well done Mr Murty :)

Was going to post nearly the exact same thing. He's learning and has a long way to go as a manager but to be fair to him to get that performance out of the players is more than any manager we've had has been able to do since Walter.

Let's not get too carried away with today's result.

These players have it in them when a team attack them, it's the pish teams who rely on total defence when playing us that the problem arises.

That's when a good manager shows his tactical skills, adjusts the team, subs at the right time etc.

Murty doesn't have that quality, he's an under 20's coach at best.

Came on to say the same thing, don't know what he's thinking. :duh:

In his defence I think he was talking about the old firm wtmosohere generally but got himself mixed up

no one wants to hear that sort of comment though rookie error
