They've a good home record, but in this group all the teams are close and with a little more experience we should be through already. It'll be a tough game over there but I think we have enough.

I think a win tonight would have made our task much harder against Rapid. We are not as solid at the back as we once were (McGregor heroics aside) so playing for a 0-0 draw to secure the point would have been foolish and I expect our downfall.

No uncertainty over how to approach the game now. Guns blazing to reach the Last 32 will suit me.

We are most certainly due a break.  Alvaro should have been sent off for them tonight.  They got away with two or three fouls similar to or worse than the initial Candeias yellow, shortly before his second.  That’s what led to players charging in, in what was a tight space. Useless ref.
