Got 1 year left on his contract. It will be another payoff if we want rid sooner

Got to be something that's being considered, he's had enough time to prove himself now and just seems to be stuck in a rut of injuries

Can't imagine he's here on cheap wages either.

Which Brother is it tomorrow mate?

We got Steven McLean.

Madden got rewarded for his performance including missing altogether an apparent red card offence (McGregors) with the top clash Kilmarnock v the scum.

Some will boak in their cornflakes at the thought, but always thought Andy Halliday would have been worth trying up front.

It's not a new thing. Remember Derek Johnstone was a defender for us before he was put up front.

When we have players like Middleton and Kent, there is absolutely no way we should be considering playing Halliday up front.

Made his debut against Cowdenbeath scored a double then couple of weeks later scored that goal in the league cup final. Pretty sure he played up front for us first then later played in defence.

any chance this is just mind games before the game?

I don't think it's mind games but from him saying they're both confident, I'd be surprised if at least one doesn't make it.

If neither do, SG has a bit to learn as it's naive and needless to give opposition team selection/ tactical advantage this way.

Confident we'll start tomorrow with a recognised striker.
