Refs with microphones

Jarred will be going straight into the English Championship. Very highly regarded in Australia as the best. Only referee that Mark Clattenberg trusted enough to take from Australia to Saudi Arabia for a few weeks without being bribed or paid off as well as his ability.

He’s in for a culture shock if he expects the players in the EFL to be so respectful.

Nice to see the Pro Referees down south going out and finding the best Refs from around the world to help improve their league.

Compare and contrast with our league Refs and their best efforts to make our game worse.

I think thinking that too. They seem to always be looking to improve the standards and quality of the leagues down there, while we seem to be resistant to almost any sort of change at all. Christ, even goal line tech was seen as a big no. Dinosaurs man.

Would it be 2-way comms so we could all hear the instructions officials are being given by those who they must obey?    And will the officials be miked as soon as they reach the stadium so we can all hear what briefing they give to players...…………...and hear the riding instructions they get from those whom they must obey...…….and hear their half time and post match comments?

why?

I think it’s interesting hearing what goes on and said on the pitch and also we never seem to know the reasoning behind why refs give fouls etc whether they’ve actually seen the foul or going by the crowds reaction. and I think there will be less chance of refs getting it wrong.
