Yep because he knows we will be going to court now

And being the big chief that he think he is , he will be throwing all his weight behind his own SPFL in any battles

That means any financial muscle most likely

As long as he isnt throwing Rod McKenzies weight behind it. We would be utterly fucked.

Apparently it wasn't a speech, it was Japanese style karaoke....

And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friends, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I corrupted each and every highway
But more, much more than this
I did it the cellic way.

Disco lights spinning round?

Feels a slip on the league as Rangers pump his trebble trebble world beaters on the park and at their invincible stadium (before eventually shooting their own legs off).

Feels a slip on his stranglehold of the governing bodies and decision making institutions.

Feels the narrative turning against him and his shitey club; abuse cases still floating about in the background.

It's up, Peter.

Now or tomorrow. It's coming. He knows it. Hence the speach.

If that’s in any way true, questions need to be asked, being the biggest winner out of this mess, why should he be allowed to try and influence others.

They'll hide behind every member deserved to say their bit ahead of the vote.

How do you really prove influence over stating their position and opinion?

My money is on Liewell’s speech being something along the lines of ‘not matter what happens, please let this be the end of divisions and let us all work together for the future of our game at this grave time etc etc’

Knowing full well that Rangers won't let it go and gives him and Hollicum another chance to smear Rangers in Public.

42  clubs so 42 votes to count.     Even with the undemocratic voting process it should only take 5 minutes to find out the answer.

Leave them alone.

Lego blocks are a bastard to stack and count.

But did every member get to  say there bit or was it just him on a power trip? Also I understand that every club was represented today but with no rep of the taigs being on the SPFL board how is he then allowed to swan in with a speech?

Absolute tripe that Lawwell made a last gasp speech. He’s too snakey for that, especially something that will literally be on a record of the minutes

It’s his own mouthpiece reporting it, mate.

Maybe they’ll be in for a kicking when he gets them home....

I am sure that he will have said something as lots of other would have during any discussions but the record being a septis mouthpiece has to build their great leader up to some type of Churchhillian character.

Some votes are finding it difficult to get through the firewall
