Thought it already came out they weren't selling alcohol anywhere in the city for them 2 days.

They arent going to implement prohibition for 2 days and suffer that economic cost and leave 100k supporters on the warpath. Not even sure how the hell they would execute that. Common sense has to prevail here, the sooner we get offficial info the better.

We booked an apartment in Seville (Triana area) for the Wednesday night that we don't need to use because we need to leave at 1/2am to get back to the airport anyway. Happy to pass it on if anyone is looking for somewhere. It would only be for one night, check out by 12pm the next day. £750 is the equivalent of one night of the booking but it's got 4 beds and a sofa bed. Drop me a PM if interested.

Couldn’t agree more with this, we need some official info to stop all the bed wetting. A bit like reading through the Covid thread a year ago at the moment. Don’t know what to believe.

Exactly. The closest thing we've had to an official source so far is some two peseta David Guetta on twitter .

People need to refrain from posting absolute shite on social media. There’s helmets on facebook saying you can’t get into Seville unless you stay there, even if you have a match ticket  honestly ridiculous the amount of fannies on social media

There's an email from a sports bar in seville saying their not opening 17th-18th due to "circumstances outside tbeor control" which sounds like they have been told to close.

They're not imposing an alcohol ban for 2 days.

Maybe nit but there's a few bars people have been in contact with saying they are closing.

I'll be picking up my booze in Madrid duty free so I'm not too bothered 😎

Hearing rumours about on the spot fines for anyone caught wearing Union Jack shorts. Can anyone confirm?

Not a chance they can implement that.

White socks with your sandals however is a week in jail. 😂

I’ve not had it 100% confirmed but yesterday I heard my bus and all others from Albufeira/Faro etc were stopping at Huelva on route then getting a police escort to the ground in the afternoon.

Now I don’t know if this is optional but it sounds to me that the police don’t want thousands more people being dropped off in the city centre if it can be helped and are now putting restrictions in place.

if they think 150,00/200,000 fans roaming the city centre is a severe health and safety issue they will do what they want at the end of the day.

I think the talk of the town in Seville right now is the absolute fuckload of cash they can make.

If an enterprising restaurant can make 70,000 Euros in a day sticking a TV out front, they might be tempted.

My airline just sent an email asking if I'd like to arrive at 10.30pm on the 18th for a 40 Euro discount...so even they're at it.
