A tent is good enough for me 🙂 I drove back to Scotland from Faro in 2019 after we played Porto. Missed my flight so had to book a car to get home. Got to Seville after about an hour'ish drive from Faro and the city was bouncing for some reason. Couldn't stay in the city so started driving north and had to crash on some dried out grass on some off road farm land. The dried out grass was good to make a bed out of, had a cracking sleep then started to drive to the ferry on the Sunday driving the main toll roads at full pelt using the lorries that were going through the toll bars by driving right up the arse of the lorries as they went through. The roof of the car only got hit lightly by the bars 2 or 3 times. Didn't see a single Police car the whole way from Seville all the way to Paris (what a bunch of moaning bustards the French are if you go over the speed limit 🤣) got on the ferry no bother and then it was just a drive north all the way home stopping just the once (bought a one man tent in Paris) to get a kip just a few miles somewhere just north of London. Was knackered by the time I got home and still have the sun burn marks on my arms from the 30°C+ it was during my whole stay in Portugal plus Spain and the South of France even at night time. Still got a couple of videos of parts of the drive through Portugal into Spain in the car I rented on my phone still. Wtf?) around 11.30 pm on the Tuesday - 1 bed apartment with spare sofa bed in living room - need to vacate by 11am Thursday - any interest?
