Sorry had a great voice and great songs but he’s one of them, would not give him a penny.

Same and goes on stage a lot in his green attire f given him any money.

Thought he was awful last night but did have a wee laugh with the backing singers in red white and blue 🇬🇧

Rod Stewart was a great talent in the 70’s and 80’s he had some great songs especially in the 70”s, but he has abused his voice with all the drinking etc, and along with age he is finished.

But he will always come up here and fill the hydro full of those cunts and take there money and laugh all the way too the bank.

Derry's Walls mate

See the dignitary flat out behind Charles, big Charlie on his feet throughout and she's snoring directly behind him in the camera shot

Really enjoyed the 4 day celebrations. So many highlights ended by the excellent parade earlier. I know they get a lot of stick but the BBC really do pull out all the stops on occasions like this.

Opinion poll shows Queen Elizabeth popularity in the Republic outstrips southern political leaders

06 June, 2022 01:00

Queen Elizabeth II

QUEEN Elizabeth's popularity in the Republic outstrips that of any southern political leader, according to an opinion poll.

The survey ranked the British monarch, who celebrated her platinum jubilee over the weekend, with higher approval than the Taoiseach Micheál Martin (44 per cent) and Tánaiste Leo Varadkar (38 per cent).

With an approval rating of 50 per cent, those surveyed also consider the Queen more popular than Green leader Eamon Ryan (21 per cent) and Sinn Féin president Mary Lou McDonald (45 per cent).

The Sunday Independent/Ireland Thinks opinion poll, published yesterday, did not give an approval rating for President Michael D Higgins.
