One team is 100% bought into their managers style which results in dominating games and creating a lot of chances each game. That team also has a handful of players they can trust & expect 10-15+ goals a season throughout the team. The other doesn’t dominate games away from home, doesn’t create enough & doesn’t score enough and is completely reliant on 1/2 players to score goals. We’ve lost 3/4 league games to them under Gio, including being absolutely scudded twice at their midden. Our only chance really is to stay within 5 points & then win on the 2nd January & hope that the pressure builds on them coupled with us strengthening in January. Evidence suggests that the league will be done by then. We’ve zero margin for error already & that never ends well. Gerrard 100% benefited from Covid. Nobody will tell me otherwise that the biggest factor last season was the scum getting the break brought forward. Not a chance we would have only took 1 point from 6 vs them and the sheep at that time. They were fucked and had key injuries and we were doing very well and were on a 9 game winning streak in the league.
