Moody Blue Legend 61,774
Early days but I feel already that if we fall any further behind we’re fucked. Our transfers have been brutal. Not confident at all even 6 games in. MacBoyd
plymouthranger 3,902
We can, but I don’t feel it’s in our own hands anymore. We need them to suffer a massive knock in confidence, as they’re already effectively 6 points clear due to GD.

A guy who has managed part time players in front of two men and a dog, with multiple tiny clubs since like Dundee feeling he isn't yet ready for the step up, should get the job of managing the biggest club in the country? I like Thomson but fucking hell.

jaywalker 377
FFS. We lost at Parkhead admittedly in a shite fashion, surely not unexpected to drop 3 points there and we were cheated out of 2 points against Hibs. The game against Napoli up until the sending off was ours for the taking, must be a positive, we have more or less a full team coming back from injuries, all we need is a bit of self belief, consistency and a result against them at Ibrox and we are right back in it. We aren’t where we want to be but we are far from out of it, if any of the players talked this way we would be baying for blood. How many times last year did folk chuck the towel in and demand Gio be executed, how many times do we scream No Surrender at games then turn into surrender monkeys on here. This forum has got to be the most depressing place in the universe after a shit result, then a week later folk are wanting to have Gios babies. STEPPS BOY 74,581
Nup. Defence is a mess Midfield situation is an embarrassment. Still don’t score enough goals. There’s a malaise through the full club at the moment and only way i can see it ending is with new ownership. Smell the hotdog 4,026
Course we can win it, will we? Seriously doubt it. They’ve a better squad, attitude and manager (domestically) than we have unfortunately. Kaydubya11
Kylegib 516
Still a long way to go this season but we really need Gio to instruct the team to be far more positive and play to our strengths. The negative tactics so far have a huge part on why we're so far behind with the goal difference.
MurrayWilson 3,444
Clutching at straws here but we still can if several things happen. First off the manager has to change tak and get them on the front foot every game. Unlikely, probably not happening. Win every game till the world cup break, again unlikely, then when we return we could have lawrence, lowry and roofe to introduce back to the squad. Ben Davies could get fit and be the centre half we are crying out for, unlikely. We could use the january window to get a proper box to box midfielder and a good right winger. Probably the most unlikely of the lot. So in short, not looking good really.

Gio took the hand break off v Ross County he should do the same today, it’s games like away at Tynecastle, Pittodrie etc I think he will be too conservative an it will cost us. Swagger 8,242
Squad isn’t good enough or hungry enough plus celtic will drop next to nothing. The gap will be at least 8 points going into the next Old Firm. You can’t really trust this lot to spend wisely in Jan either. A cup is the best we can hope for - club is a mess
