Don’t know the situation, but you’d imagine Cantwell will make himself available for a cup final with a threadbare squad.

If he’s mentally up to it has to be the managers call.

If cantwell is out they will play lammers (🤮) further forward.

Centre mid will have to be souttar, sterling or a youth player alongside lundstrum.

I would tend to agree with you on that mate.

I suppose it will all come down to just how serious his personal problems are ... hopefully not too serious though and your take on the situation is accurate.

Appreciate everyone is mentally different, but likes of Billy Sharpe playing and scoring a couple of days after the loss of his child, or Lampard scoring days after his mums death, means you’d hope he make it.

I didn’t speculate. And I said I appreciate everyone is different mentally. And I used past examples to support my hope that he’d make it.

On that occasion It was because Tommy Burns just happened to die on a day that suited them .... team fitness at an all time high I suppose.

 Yet they found it perfectly fine to pull out of the game against us when the then Motherwell player Phil O'Donnell died .... unlike most clubs who would carry on and show their respects with black arm bands and minute's silence ... or applause in their case.

The real reason we all know was because they found themselves without certain key players .... who were out injured ... and knew we would have had a positive advantage had they played us.

Nowhere near by far the amount of key players we find ourselves with out injured.
