Welcome to Rangers Permanently Oscar Cortes

Recommended Posts

Looks quite mature and self assured with an understanding of what he’s here for.

Seen a clip of that idahs goal at Ibrox there and hadn’t realised just how fkn pathetic Wright was in covering/tracking our right side.

Really looking forward to Cortes and a hellava lot less of Wright.

Don't see how it is. Given what needs done this window it's smart.

It is smart. It's more just the lingering concerns about our financial situation coupled with the Diomande transfer being deferred too. Throw in having no budget to get a striker in January.

Ideal solution, really.

Slightly surprised we've managed it  tbh.  Maybe the club is getting better at this stuff?

We took on the players surgery and rehab instead of sending him back to get it done at his parent club.

Was pretty much done then.

Not worried about it at all. We're probably going to be bringing in double figures worth of players. Wouldn't want 2 players who we already had taking up such a big % of our budget.

hopefully structured in a way that his appearances/goals etc determines how much we pay so if he fails its doesnt cost too much

Sounds far too sensible from Rangers.

Delighted with this. I'm already convinced he's a real asset based on the small number of times we got to see him. Direct with an ability to score from outside and around the box.

Only 20 too. Good job Rangers.

Looked really good when he played, but I'd have preferred an option to buy, rather than an obligation.

Surely if we don't want him at the end we just offer the player a shit contract so that he refuses.

Hopefully turns out well and is something that we don't need to worry about.

The contract will be agreed already.

Great news on a Monday morning.

In the few appearances he made, he looked like a constant threat. His finish against Hearts was quality.

Nice to see business being done early in the summer.

Would have been nice if Celtic paid there victims nice and early instead of dragging them through courts for years.

:shifty:
