A complete car crash of an interview.

How did the media team watch that back and not say, John, we need to re-do this because you look and sound ridiculous.

I honestly think they're fueled by their own delusions of grandeur.

Baffling how someone could think that interview would play well with the support otherwise.

Under this board we are either going under or set up to be a run of the mil SPFL side who might get lucky and win a cup or two over the years.

That's the legacy they are making.

Unless the other mob hit some financial disaster or implode we won't win another title for the foreseeable.

But they have their name on grey stones outside edmiston house

We're not even guaranteed European football nevermind EL if we finish 2nd.

That's if Scottish Football has a complete collapse in Europe this season. We will make the top 15.

Been run like a brothel since we came back up.

Learned nothing and have had crooks in suits getting their fill out the most loyal support in the country.

It's getting to the point we will either go under or turn into a Everton type in this city.

It's bogging

Exactly where it’s going or indeed is.

I actually fear for the future of our club with these guys running it.

We 100% need to be self sustaining. Relying on Champions League income and hoping we'll get a big sale every year is fantasy land stuff.

Budgets should have been based on the very worst season outcome and additional income used to further improve the clubs future.

It's basic stuff they haven't been getting right, and now we're having to find over £10m a year to just keep out the red. A club our size with our supporter base and spend shouldn't be in this position.

Amateur level from them.

They haven't budgeted properly since they took the helm. Then they hired incompetence and expected miracles.

This season has nothing to do with next year.

Next year is already confirmed.

2nd place starts in UCL qualifying round 2 and they can lose a tie in each tournament and not make Europe at all.

The lack of any sort of forward planning and the horrendous use of our money is incompetence at best.

Considering we have successful business people running the club, they honestly haven't a clue.

This close season sounds like someone has had a look at the books and absolutely shat their pants.

There was nothing he could have said that would have appeased the fans. Loaded questions with loaded answers as expected but is yet to face the real questions fans are asking.

It came across as "here is why we're going to fail". There was also a wee bit of "it's no ma fault" in there. Struggles to read a room. Felt more like a tick box exercise.

I'd have had more respect for the guy if he came out and said he fucked it and the season is basically a write off. That would at least buy him some space for the upcoming shit show.

Yes but still people want us splashing the cash.

Imaging fans wanting the club to spend money when the fans are spending thousands on STs and merchandise.

Or thinking business men would be capable of shifting players who have chucked it or are not good enough and replacing with ones who can be.

Where's the investment, where is the future planning? The lying bastard has just hit out with buzz words and it's no ma fault patter.

How dare the fans expect their club to spend 😆

Complete and utter bullshit and bluster.

Fine the material has been delayed, but it hasn’t taken nearly 4 fucking weeks to get an update and then be able to address it and “fill the void”.

He was part of the board that hired the executives who have stumbled from one calamity to another and caused the £10.5M loss and then when questioned about their performance told us it was “best in class”.

Also the section about transfers and spouting off about an £11M total commitment - so how does that work John, are the board just pocketing the money from incoming transfers and the savings from the player wages that have left?!?

If he thinks his current stewardship of the club is going to help turn us around he is in for a shock. They are setting us up for mediocrity that will see a drop off in prize money, European money and fan engagement. One thing saying we are running at a loss and we need to address that and look to reduce losses by both cutting back on overspend and putting in place a strategy for the long term as a strategy.

He has basically just told us that we are skint, with no potential for investment (or speculation) and that what could have been an opportunity for a evolution of the club (which was needed 3 years ago but he and his fellow board members failed to implement) is now a full on revolution.

Problem is history should have taught him that those that start revolutions rarely survive them.

Have you?

This board have allowed it to happen, they have failed in moving players on, investing, brining in value...just about every aspect they have failed in

It's just one bunch of incompetent bastards taking over from the same ilk.

Can't wait to win fuck all and penny pinch for the next few years just to give them a clean slate to fuck up all over again.

100% it can't go on, but it feels like someone at the club has just realised how unsustainable the current situation is and that the brakes need applied now rather than 3 years ago when a more prudent approach to transfers would have been better.

Or, not to give Beale the best part of £20m to waste on garbage.

Fans have got to get together now to force change.

We’re looking at a situation where we are in dire need of the CL this season to be sustainable with a squad who don’t even look capable of competing domestically.

We need fresh investment and fresh faces at every level. That comment from the fan even since 2022 is sickening.

Otherwise we’re in deep trouble in the next 2 years.

It has to start from Saturday. The fans need to be on the board's case immediately, not when the annual meltdown occurs in October.

They are simply not fit for purpose. They cannot be trusted as the custodians of our club.
