You are certainly spot on regarding strict liability. If these people wanted to stamp out the 'bigotry' as they see it, then educate people. 

They will find a way to use the strict liability rule in a way that doesn't punish the likes of hibs or celtic for "over exuberance" and assaults but most certainly will find a way to use it against us for songs. 

There's no coincidence the usual people in the press and the same mps are championing it and keep repeating that sanctions could be financial, stadium closures or points deducted.

I live in Newcastle nowadays, but I think you could replace Paisley with around 50% of places in Greater Glasgow and the message would still be as relevant. Funnily enough all those places vote SNP
